This was actually last night's post, but the server had problems again.....
So I was told not to write so many glum things. Ok, I'll try, but no promised gar.
Today stayed at home till 2pm. Most of the time did the broadcasting play. Then went out to have a "tutoring lessons" (so-called), then dinner with my cousins and grandparents. Then came back and watched a little bit of the English Premier League: Man.Utd vs Coventry. (Yeah, Man.Utd won 4:2!!!!!!) Then, work work work and work. It is so really tiring. Argh... Eh, ok, I will try not to mention grey things...Trying...
Oh yeah, and funny things happened too. My parents were talking about how good my cousin was cause although I was only 1 year older than him, he still called me 表姐. Then my cousin and I laughed about if we called each other politely with the 表-sth and the name also, it would end up like 婉君表妹 and 家明表哥. And we were laughing so much that we were told to stop. Haaa. That was because we tried with each others' names and it ended up hilarious. Haaaa.

Actually, I didn't have to go out of the house the whole day, but my mum made me because she wanted me to go out and buy some exercise books, biology, eh-hum. So then I reluctantly went out and felt grateful she forced me to only when I discovered a really really good book. Lemme tell you the details of it.
There was a boy, who grew up in a poor family, parents were uneducated, father was a builder with a very bad temper, mother was a housewife who was very weak. He originally had a sister, but because the family was too poor, so they gave the sister away to their aunt. His brother was his mentor and buddy, who exceled in all academic areas. The boy, on the other hand, was very poor academically, but he was a natural in sports, especially in cross-country. His brother knew he wanted to be an athelete, so he supported him in every way. The boy's nickname was 狗仔. He had a very boy-ish face, and a warm smile, out-going personality and was very optimisstic. Although he was very poor in academic work, the teachers never seemed to dislike him, they even liked him, because he was ever so happy and sunny. He was a natural athelete and had been winning awards ever since primary school. Once, during an inter-school competition, he found that his knees were hurt very badly. The doctor advised him to do a surgery, and will never be able to run again, or to choose to heal by himself, although the chances were very very little. He took the little minor chance, and followed the doctor's advice to practise swimming. He did so, and soon he was the champion swimmer. But then, sickness defeated him again and was told that he was never to swim again. He went right down. He was made for an athlete, his school work had never been good. And now, he could do nothing. Right at this time, his girlfriend told him she was to go to England tomorrow. This sudden shock really threw him off his feet. Months later, his brother earned a scholarship and was to go to USA too. All at once, his beloved people left him. That was when he was F5. Cert. exam. He got 0 marks. There was nothing he could do. One day he saw the army recruiting new members (that was before 1997) and decided to try for it. After a few rounds of tough fitness tests, he was promoted to the interview. He knew only 5 English words, and was very humiliated when he went out of the interview room. Thinking he'd fried it, he went to Church to cry it out. Someone helped him and taught him 4 words, "I like army life." As simple as that. With the sentence and his sincere attitude, he got in. A few years later, he was even in university.
This was a true story. And a very touching one too. A person, who had fallen for so many times, could stand up again, and walk the rest of the road with splendour. Knowing only 5 English words, to using English to write his university homework, this shows that you can stand up at any time after you've fallen down. It's possible.
I wish I had the perseverance like the boy. To be able to carry on no matter what.

This post was for yesterday, but Blogger had problems yesterday so I had to save it for today
Went to laine's house to do the broadcasting play project. And... to laine first: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
A few funny conversations happened today.
A: How much did it cost?
B: Not going to tell. I gave you the present mar. Besides, I've already thrown the receipt --- (stopped suddenly)
A: (turned over and found the price tag)
...........
C: (twisting a plastic stick) This is a parabola. And this is the face of you shape.
D: Huh??? Face of your shape??

Today is Good Friday, as well as Black Friday. Quite contradicting huh? Oh well, still doing the AYP log book.

This is not the first time I know filming something would take so much time and effort, but today really was too much. Like, the person wanted sko to take the upbeat (or whatever that's called) first and pull it down the minute he gives a cue. We NGed 3 times cause we couldn't do it. Eh-hum. How can someone conduct just with the downbeat? Then, we NGed for x number of times and everyone was already moaning and groaning, either of tiredness or hunger (most of us, both). And it was so cold in the studio, the person said, they've already turned down the air.con. Don't know how they can survive in there, it's freezing.
Nothing much today, apart from the shooting.
Oh, and ammendments about tA.

Last day of school before the term finishes. Had the service which was conducted by "a group of 3X girls" (slau's words). Then went to watch a movie to kill time and then went to DB for smc rehersal. Ha. Reminds me of how tA and I would get silly over Maths with those triangles abc, DG=DB, or GH//DB (so that they will never meet. Hahahaaa). Things like that, and we would laugh. Ai...
Holiday actually starts tomorrow, but we have to go to RTHK for full orch. video-shooting on Phantom of the Opera. With winter uniform lor. Hope they have sufficient air-con. in there.
My mood has brightened a little today, not as grey as before, now still a little, but much better.

Like, I feel as I'm a failure in almost everything. Even in things that's easy to excel on, e.g. English. Sometimes hearing ppl say, "Everyone get's something something marks gar lar (like... 90's)", and hearing them say it... you will think, "well, 'everyone' except me lor."

Once again, the sky turned grey. It is so amazing, it knows our dates of handing our the papers back. It knows just the right day. And on that day, preferrably in the lesson. It even rained frost today. We were having our jmc rehersal and suddenly the whole sky turned black and something started to hit the building. Hard things. It was frost. Ha. I know I am not supposed to feel grey or blue or black or whatever, but, can I control it? I wish I could, then life wouldn't have been so difficult...

Back from expedition. My legs are totally paralysed and I don't know how I am going to go to school tomorrow. I can't stand, I can't walk at all. Serious muscle pain. I even have the 樓梯恐懼症 from climbing too much stairs yesterday and tomorrow. And I wonder if I'll get a cold from walking in the rain and making myself all wet, from head to toe. That certainly was a good experience. Oh, and thanks to our instructor (麥sir/明仔sir), who provided us with many food on the way. Danke! And so apart from the person from the next tent who kept snoring so loudly our whole tent woke up at 12 and laughed, and apart from those stairs, this time actually was pretty fun. We ended up missing our lunch because nobody could eat in the rain and had lunch at 3pm at mcdonalds. I could just see the look on people's faces when we came in and... we were sorta polluting the air. Our trousers were... so... beautiful... with mud splashed on them. My mum threw away my shoes cause they were too dirty. After going to the toilets at the camping area without any water and absolutely inhygienic not to mention smelly, the toilet at mcdonalds was like a heaven. And civilization. I had never been so greatful for esculators and lifts and cars and air-conditioners and buildings, etc. I never thought ham could be so satisfying until going up and having only ham and bread for lunch. Oh yeah, and 溪水, I wonder if I'll feel sick tomorrow.
Nevertheless if was quite fun this time, despite having some injuries.
